I'm going by what I know of the aussieamplifiers.com NX series of amplifier modules, not actual, personal experience with DIY MOSFET designs ... ( http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...18#post1133018 )

You are probably correct ... maybe the MOSFET stage should have a little more gain?
