hey i design this compressor circuit off of a THAT schematic and was hoping to get some reviews/input and make sure i got everything right.

Your project is a very Excellent and professional Compressor...
Also I am trying different types of circuits... The VCA diode of Domplotz is based on dinamic diode resistance varied with direct polarization. diode vca - build and measured. what amplification for output signal? This solution need a very small input signal on diode and it has (i think) enough distorsion... (In my experiments with spice I have use the diode as a soft clipper signal )For my use the simplest solution is a circuit with vactrol. bye |

ha ha, yeah that would get some attention. I have checked out the on semi NE570/571 or is it 572? but i dont know how to add the attack/threshold/makeup gain controls. I actually bought samples of those chips. have you seen any good schematics with those chips?
