I want an diy solution
I build some amps…….rotel clone …naim clone…..gainclones….doz more dozs….monster and much more others ….but im the final of road the sound no not is good for me…
Diyers heve an good amp for my POLK LS70 speakers…only quality and more of 20w of power.

Maybe you should try another CD player, or preamp, or speakers ?

Bring your amp to a shop, pretend you are here to listen and buy new speakers, and listen to your amp with other gear... Thay way you'll know.

PS : if it's too scary looking, maybe don't

how do you adjust the volume?
What equipment feeds the power amp?
Is your speaker working correctly?

Absolutely, some amps are just dead in the water with no active pre... some will sound great with just a nice source...

An 10k pot in the input and the equipment is:
Nad tuner
Nakamichi tape deck and CD too an st2 tuner

i buy new the speakers and have not use...this is my second sistem....i too use an monitor speakers and the sound is similar but less bass...ok

If radio is your main source that is probably your problem.

Maybe you should try another speakers, have you ever heared danish sound? maybe scan speak? or bi-amp or tri-amp your sistem?

I agree with you Pancho, when I changed my old speakers and try with danish speakers, my ears were overcome with joy!!!
Now I 'm going to try is triamp. or fouramp. my system

la vida es bella pero no barata
ustedes bien saben que por estas latitudes a todos nosotros todo nos sale el doble......hay que solucionar el problema con lo que uno posee....y de reventa no te pagan nada por mejor estado que este.

radio is my problem ok...but in other sources th problem is similar

Hi tadiam, you are right, life is beautifull but not cheap, I've been waiting about 30 years to multiamplifier my system.
Es cierto cuando queres vender no te dan nada.
Si necesitas una mano....pedí nomás...

Los ls 70 mios los compre hace 10 años nuevos y pasaron la mayor parte de su vida dentro de la caja casi nunca los useya que tengo un segundo par de monitores infinity.
Los ls estan nuevos y por lo que te dan ni siquiera compras un modelo nuevo de inferior calidad.
