Hi all currently working on a yamaha av amp ,5 channels,switch on for 1 second switches off,
Checked all 10 output trannys,repaced 1 and driver and predriver changed rectifier changed psu caps Still the same get +and - rails all over it The fault i had was the main right channel first output tranny fed from psu

if you strip it for parts keep them for years as soon as you get rid you will want them ..................... |

The amp does not change no matter what i do definately,no shorts and parts in areas that had fault ok
I any one can help appreciate it i have a pdf of service manual for this amp i can email many thanks

Did you ever get the amp fixed as mine has started behaving in a similar manner. Shuts down after a second. I have checked the output trannies and volatges which seem fine. I will try and check the capacitors but I am runnin out of options
