First off I want to say I am pretty new to all of this. I started building a Tube Lab SSE 6L6 amp a couple months ago. I have become fascinated with this project and it seems to have opened Pandora's box. I am getting to the testing phase of my amp and I would like to take some measurements using SMAART RTA software. I obviously dont want to connect test probes directly to my sound card, but I have a device that I would like an opinion on. I have a couple Palmer "The Junction" specialized guitar DI boxes. These boxes can be wired in between the amp the speaker and output a mic level signal. I would like to connect this output to my audio interface so I can read the RTA in SMAART. Has anyone attempted something like this with this or similar product? Thanks!
