I'm trying to do some diode noise modelling in LTspice hoping to get a handle on keeping noise induced by the rectifier bridge in a power supply to a minimum.

However it seems that the diode models included with LTspice do not really lend themselves for doing any useful simulation of this.

Does anybody know of ways to model this in LTspice?

LTspice, like all standard flavors of SPICE, models diode recovery as a transport time that is very unrealistically abrupt (super snappy) at the conclusion of the recovery event. There are ways to model a more realistic, soft diode recovery, but you must seek them out. (Hint: look to the LTpsice Yahoo group and the LTwiki for some soft recovery diode models.)
