WoW !!!
I'll try it!!! There's many recorders out there but a simple "cassette type" one where you "just hit the red button and start" is *very* useful. Thanks. |

Just when trying to run the program after having unzipped it, a virus was detected on my computer.

Hi,
Nice but what does Windows Micro Portable Recorder offer over Windows built in simple Sound Recorder? Easy accessible: [Start] > type: sndrec32 > [Enter]

Yes XP, in W7 you just type: sound (more if you have more applications with the same name).
"Save as" in XP gives you the (only) option to save in wav. (XP only?).

After little research (and test on my W7 PC).
Enter: soundrecorder /file outputfile.wav Voila! wav file from the Sound Recorder included in W7.
