i'm trying to setup soundeasy to measure frequency response with EasyLab and MLS on an HP 8440W. I have connected the output and can generate the MLS signal through the speakers. HP lists the microphone inputs as stereo. i have checked the connector wiring, but no matter how i connect, i get the same level response in both channels of the IR generator. Disconnecting the reference input makes no difference. Adjusting the microphone input level in the recording control window right to left makes no difference. I am using a microphone preamp with a +4dBu output.
