Hi all
I made a AudioSignalGenerator for iOS devices, available on the AppStore for free : AudioSigGen. The website: iPhone app: AudioSigGen Direct Link to AppStore: AudioSigGen for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store Some Features: *Main Tab, the basic audio signal generator: - Play a sine wave tone with frequencies from 10 Hz to 20 kHz (adjustment in real time) *Test Sounds, play noise and Glits - White and pink noise - Stereo and mono noise - Adjustable Glits *Bass Vent, calculation for the acoustic design of a vented box: - Input values: Box volume, vent diameter, vent length and tuning frequency. Each of this values can be calculated. *Baby Fan, a hair dryer sound played in a endless loop, for all parents.. For the next version, I would like to ask some of the potential users for their ideas. So if you like to have any new feature, let me know! Already included in the next version (will be 1.4.2) is button called "wavelength" (position and size not yet fixed). This opens a pop up, where you can see the wavelength, or input the value, which will be back converted to the frequency and played, see screen shot: ![]() ![]() 2nd feature will be a phase tester. To be honest, this takes more time to develop, so will be part of version 1.5. Any comment for my app is very welcome! Thanks a lot! Mario |

Ok, understand.
I will have a close look, I guess I could also enable it for iOS 3.X.. Best Regards Mario |

That would make it more universal. I suspect we will see more and more iPhones being put into single use (and not used as phones).
I got mine as a tip from a client and it is used only for remote and other audio use (i have audio tools, and the seismograph ap i have may prove useful at detecting speaker enclosure resonance. dave

Thanks! I'll work on the release for the older iOS versions. For this the iAd will not work, so I will stay a poor guy ;-)
I will inform you, once the app is available in the store. |

I'd rather pay something than have ads.

Basically me too.
It's just the case that I fill the empty place with iAd.. I don't want to earn much money, I would like to have the developer fee paid. Let's see if this is the right way (from a financial point of view, it was not yet). |
