HOLMImpulse. Excellent free measurement software. The designer asked for our input and incorporated the changes. (just wanted to mention it again)

Audacity. Very nice sound editor. Now in version 2.0

RightMark Audio Analyzer. Nice measurement suite.

Not free, but the demo is open ended and very usable.

A tool to simulate SPL distribution in a room,
JBL Pro - Installed Sound | CBT Calculator Software
Applies to specific JBL CBT loudspeakers and can be used for generic guidance on some of the important charcteristics. Good to aid understanding of the effects of distance and delay on polar plots in the crossover region.
