DSP audio filter program needed

Hello, I am looking for a simple program that will allow me to take any audio from input of the sound card, and filter it as I want. What I am looking is the graphic equilizer functionality.

For example the best thing would be to drag with the mouse the response curve line to create the audio frequency response (filter) I want at any time. It has to have a resolution of 10Hz or less.

Does it even exist? I mean a simple one.... spectrum lab is just too complicated for me..

Download a free VST host and a free VST equaliser.

The latest version of Spectrum Lab has a plugin that does exactly what I needed. Yet not difficult to use. The best option I have seen up to date...
