Anyone here know about Spice? Specifically, I'm using Berkeley 3f5 Spice on a Mac.
Very esoteric question - how to model a center tapped transformer? I can't get the mutual inductance "K" commands to work. Other versions of Spice allow you to list any number of inductors in one "K" line but this version allows only two and therefore makes you use multiple K lines. This would be fine if only it worked. If you've gotten this to work maybe you'd share a snippet of the Spice netlist? I've got a new EL84 push pull amp model all the way up to the output transformer. But I'm stuck there. |

Apparently, you need a K statement for each pair of inductors. If you have 3 coupled inductors, you need K L1 L2 X, K L1 L3 Y, K L2 L3 Z.
