Wave Motion - Ripple Tank Applet
This Java applet ( a modified version of the original by Paul Falstad ) is a simulation of a ripple tank.
It Demonstrates waves in 2/3 dimensions, and wave phenomena as interference, diffraction (single slit, double slit, etc.), refraction, resonance, phased arrays, and the Doppler effect. - Wave Phenomena Harvard Natural Sciences Lecture Demonstrations - Wave Phenomena Harvard Natural Sciences Lecture Demonstrations Two substantial modifications: • Create a suite of sophisticated drawing tools to allow new, user-defined setups to be drawn with precision • Allow users to save and load their own setups The movable scope probes are helpful Syd |
