Anyone using 5Spice?

Real newb here. I just went to the first site on a google search and down loaded it.

I don't even know if there is a difference between it and other modeling softare.

I am having trouble setting it up for simple stuff in that I can get the circuit laid out and a graph but I wans something like gain vs. frequency and I am not sure of what parameters to feed it or scales. I just want to model simple stuff like common emitter single transistor amp to start. I've been slugging away for a couple of days and I'm not sure my graphs are showing anything other then ignorance.

Dowload LTSpice from here:
Linear Technology - Design Simulation and Device Models

All the spice programs use the same engine but with different front ends. LTSpice is probably the most popular. I've found it to be pretty good and I've been using it for maybe a month.

There is a wiki here on diyaudio which can help guide you with first steps on how to perform FFT and such.

This document is a helpful resource as well:
