Hi all.

The TSSA V1.6 is the final production ready amp.

The component list for the amp is:

http://sitosite.dk/amps/TSSA V1.6 componentlist.xlsx

http://sitosite.dk/amps/TSSA V1.6 componentlist.xls

Schematic for the amp is:

http://sitosite.dk/amps/TSSA-01300712.pdf

The PCB layout as interactive PDF:

http://sitosite.dk/amps/TSSA-01080812-pcb.pdf

The assembly instruction will follow shortly.

I would prefer to deliver the modules with all SMT assemblied on the boards. I have tried to sell boards before without SMT assemblied and people did not get them made...

All buys should be mailed to audioparts@sitosite.dk

there are a couple of resistors in the BOM named CMF55 with 0,5W... afaik CMF55 has only 0,25W and CMF60 is the equivalent with 0,5W. Is 0,25 sufficent?

Do you have a source for the transistors Q18, Q19?
While KSA1381ESTU is available at Mouser, KSC3503ESTU is stated as discontinued (it is still available in hFE1 D grade, but KSA1381 is only available in E grade...)

P.S. Are you a bit unhappy with the bass? Mentioning only great mids and highs in the guide. The analogous 2 stage p2p Nico like SSA has very good bass for instance in my experience. Or is it just against higher power, higher FB other amps of yours?

There is VT200 Mark I in a good friend's system with Harbeth SHL5s which are a manageable load for TSSA so I will have means to investigate too. Not imminent in the builds line, but it won't remain in the drawer either.

If its the Eidolon it took an FM Acoustics prosound genes amp to sing in an installation I did once after it was pushing the owner's Naim Nap 500 to stridency at high SPL times, not an easy speaker at all. TSSA will be great on 93dB+ 4 Ohm or 90dB+ 8 Ohm non quirky Z speakers IMHO.

Sorry to butt in here; but what if the output devices are doubled or single 16Amp 250Watt devices are used? Driver current may need to be increased slightly.
