I'd like to have a mobile version of the site in the future so it's easily usable on a phone. That's something for the future...
Hurray 4 that!! (He says from his Axim PDA at the local coffee shop)

I feel with you. I was in the same postion three years back but now I have 8 MBit. 2-24 MBit is what people have here.
Western Canda is maxed out at 5MB connection IF you are in a downtown core (unless you hire a contractor to lay OC-x). I'm stuck, as most people are in the country, a 1.5MB connection. Given my location, I'm lucky I have that... the line repeater, hence blocking the DSL signal, is just 100 metres past my house

Cheers!

Agreed - if Flash banners and the like offend you, try using Firefox with AdBlockPlus and NoScript (free plug-ins) installed.

Still, it's far simpler if the site in question has few animated distractions.

Opera does this without having to add any plugins

While there will always be a requirement for some advertising , all of us involved in the redesign are quite offended by garish and excessive advertising. This place is always an oasis of calm compared to most other sites IMHO.. and we want to continue this.

It has been some commotion here but it has been quiet for quite some time now and I'll hope also it will continue to be like this.

Late breaking news, this just in...

Shaw is converting to 7.5 over the next few weeks. Plus extra boost for those heavy loads. No extra charge, yes you heard right, no extra charge.

Well, that's good.

I've had nothing but bad luck with them

Cheers!

Default Page Numbers

Right now, each long thread has a list of page numbers at the top and bottom of each page, but sub-forums only have the list at the bottom.
