This looks like a nice little amp for a good price. Do you provide any additional instructions besides the schematic?

I like to know if Ray could supply a kit with 5K to 8ohm OPT instead the 3.5K OPT?

I like to try out other output tubes besides 6P3P.

thanks

Yep, I use 5K OPT for 6L6 and EL34 many times.

I like to purchase the 6p3p kit ( with 5K OPT ) as well as Hifi 6N2+6P1 tube power amplifer kit.

We do have 5k opt but are you sure the 5K opt works for 6P3P? it may cause impedance matching problem.

see http://www.retrovox.com.au/STC6L6G.pdf

6L6 Class A Single-ended Triode connected Plate voltage at 250v
output load is 5K.

Tetrode connected Plate voltage at 300v , output load is 4.5K.

Anyway, I plan to use 6v6 tube for output in the future.

OK, we can send you with 5K OPT. I hope you can select air shipping for your orders since there have been too much troubles for sea shipping.

Question Sensibility

Hello my friend:
First of all sorry for my poor English.
I am very interested in the 6p3p amp but am not sure if the sensibility of my DIY boxes will be apropiated.
The boxes have these speakers:
BEYMA 5MP60N - DJMania
BEYMA T2030 - DJMania

Can you tell me something?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I recently finished this amplifier and it sounds good. Slight to no hum and it glows beautifully. I have ordered some ECC85 valves to replace the 6n1 valve. I hope this will be an improvement.

What modifications should I do to make it work with KT66 valves? Is this an easy job or does it require a completly different design?

Thanks...
