Matching transistors is really a tough work, sometimes even a nightmare. For differecial pairs it's not a problem, there're almost no waste if there're enough number of transistors. But for complementary it's quite different. Sometimes it's hard to find even only one pair in 500pcs batch. Then you have to buy another batch. We have a large stock of unmatched transistors from ON, Toshiba and IRF.
The prices are modified because of thei high cost of matching, sorry for that but I think you'll understand how difficult it is.
