7-segment Tube display problem - Click HERE for Original Thread
Bassterror
Hi,

maybe you can help me.

Ive got an old Blaupunkt Tuner from ca 1980 on my hobby desk.
It's working perfectly except for one little flaw...

This mashine has a 7-segment style Tube Display, wich
indicates the frequency. All the elements are glowing permanently
so it displays "1888"

I have no experience with such diplays...

I suspect IC 602... Crystal is oscillating, operating voltages are OK.

Maybe you have some ideas?

Here the shematic:

That would be my best guess.

It seems to be so:(

And if i find it somewhere, it will be more expensive than my tuner at ebay;)

What is the IC part number maybe we could find it at a reasonable price.

I'm at greater Hamburg here, about 400km north.
Pretty long time ago, i was born in 1982.

I put the mashine back to duty, as it does a good job even without that display.

I found a german dealer who seems to have them, i'll call him next week, maybe i'm lucky.

greetings,
Stephan
