After googling the numbers on the back of the drivers I can officially say that they are indeed mystery drivers. The numbers are as follows:
Messina 1BFA
Made in Korea
D439
Do any of these numbers ring a bell Dave?
I might try these in a Tabaq but they seem to be high end challenged as well as low. Maybe some Tabaqs with a tweeter. I would estimate about 88 dBs 1w/1m. Pretty cheesy but what the hell for $14.00. They might make some nice computer speakers. Or I might have wasted my time entirely. It won't be the last time.:D |

They don't... any chance of a picture of the back. They sure have a striking resemblance to Rs 40-1197s from the front.
