I built a subwoofer using LM4780 in parallel configuration. I tested using signal generator and everything working fine. I now want to connect it to my Yamaha 639 receivers subwoofer output which is 4V rms max. Any suggestions on best way to connect receiver to chipamp. Chipamp is running on +/- 30V and gain = 11. I am planning to use plain POT to bring down the receiver output to match the chipamp input. Is that okay or do I require pre-amp? Any other suggestions?
