i have the hartke 3500 and its claims the 240 watts at 8 ohms and 350 watts at 4 ohms. i have a 215xl series 400 watt hartke cab.
do these match?
and how do i get 4 ohms out of my amp? to match my 4 ohm speakers?
theres two 8 ohm inputs from the speakers on the amp
and one 4 ohm input on the speaker cab. |

| What impedance is your cab?, presumably it's 4 ohms? - so you can just plug it into one of the sockets on the amplifier - but you can't use the second socket for another cab (it's either two 8 ohm cabs, or one 4 ohm). |

yeah its a 4 ohm cab. and thats what i do is plug the cab in one of the 8 ohm plugson the amp. one single cab that is.
so that automatically makes the amp put out the 350 watts? |

| Yes, the two '8 ohm' sockets will just be wired in parallel. |
