Help, Foxtex Fe207E FE206E hole size - Click HERE for Original Thread

My FE207E drivers are taking a long time to get here, I want to cut the holes in my cabinets for them.

The Foxtex literature says 185mm cutout is required. Can someone measure a driver and verify this for me please?

I had a bad experience with a JBL driver that stated a hole size on the literature that was actually 7mm bigger than the required hole. I had to start again with the front baffle for that one.

Has anyone made a cabinet with these drivers and cut the hole at 185mm instead of making it to fit the driver directly?
Can I trust the fostex datasheet?

Yep, they are who I used.
They were very good, the speakers were dispatched from Sydney on Monday. they didnt make it here by yesterday so I wont see any until at least tuesday, probably wednesday.

I just want to make sure I dont cut too big (or too small) hole in my cabinets. I want to start sanding and painting them in the next few days so I'd like to cut the holes before the drivers arrive.

I don't remember needing to make alterations to any of mine, despite using the driver information. Fostex designed them, so their measurements tend to be quite good... ;)

My drivers arrived, Horay!
I didn't expect that on Good Friday (A public holiday here)

183mm with a very slight chamfer
impressive build quality. I haven't used Fostex drivers before.
the screws that come with them look pretty cheap though, I won't be using those.
