Sharp QA-1150 Projection Panel- RCA input image is horrible - Click HERE for Original Thread

I've got a Sharp QA-1150 panel that looks great with DVD's on my computer, but we want to take it camping with us. When you plug in a DVD player via RCA input, the image is extremely dark and it looks as if the resolution is way to high. It's very "frizzy". Any advice would be appreciated. The DVD player is just one of those cheap Apex ones from Wal-Mart. It works fine with our TV's.

Geez! I just bought one with no cables. I can go VGA very easy (I have a TV tuer card) but, having a hard time finding a cable or a pin out.

Anyone know where I can get a cable or oin out diagram?

Thanks

OOps!!!!

Mine is a QA-1500!

Search "Panel Paranoia!" to get pin outs. You can make your own.

I think your 1150 and my 1500 have the same VGA pinouts.
