TC9 HT sub design help - Click HERE for Original Thread
spudfrog
Hello all. I recently built a pair of speakers with the help of your own Andy Graddon and now I'm looking to build an ht enclosure with a new 12" TC9-based driver that I recently bought.

I'm tempted by the eccentricity (not to mention asthetics) of t-lines and folded horns, but I may have to stick with a traditional ported enclosure. What would any of you suggest for this driver? I don't have any specs on it, but there are dozens of drivers using similar parts (RL-p, HCCA, Ed A-series, etc).

So is this driver suited for anything other than bass reflex and sealed enclosures? Along with a good low end, I hope to be able to find a design that would do well with minimal power, as it determines how much I would have to pay for an amplifier.

I have about 3'x3' of floorspace to work with. And I should also mention I have a cat that loves to destroy my speakers. Maybe a downfiring design?

Thanks for any help.
Ryan
