I'd consider the BOSOZ/Balanced Line Stage on www.passdiy.com. There are other variants of the BOZOX on this site as well you might like to consider. The Aleph P is great if you can find a service manual.

A lot depends on your experience level as to which one to pick. The BOSOZ is a great preamp.

hi
i have an aleph-p diy but how do you keep it noise free ?
when i used it at baranced input it run ok but unbalanced in put it seen have an hot noise very small but you know that the noise is there what can i do? please help

IT depends what kind of noise you are getting. If you are hearing a hum, there's probly a grounding issue. I'd check for ground loops. Try a star ground, tying all grounds to a common point. Also is the ground signal floating?

Do a search on this site for BOZOZ noise or grounding issues. There is a lot that's published on the topic.
