The Pearl Phono: Output cap? - Click HERE for Original Thread

The ouput-cap in The Pearl Phono is 10u. Is it Ok to use another type capacitor. I want to use the same type as in the Aleph P 1.7.
Do you think this will affect the sound?

You can use whatever you want as long as it's 10uF or larger.

Wether it affects the sound I can only say that everybody has his own opinion on this subject and people have very different opinions.

Oh and don't forget it should be non-polarized!!

I guess you can also use electrolytics, but then you've to check the polarization of the dc first.
