PSU with Multiple 7805 // - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hello !

I saw in the schematics of the PSU for DAC's output, something unusual .
The audio output stage(one side) is made with 2 OP Amp AD712, mounted in differential ; the PSU is made of 2x 7815 (Pos rail), 2x 7915 (neg rail )
I don't know why 2 voltage regulators TO220 (1.5A each !) connected // are needed ? Is there any advantage in such topology ?

Thanks for any advice

where can I find mentioned schematic

This is the scheme, with 2 x 7815 (not 7805) connected // to supply One AD712

Theoretically lower output impedance... although I don't know how much it would help considering there are already two large electrolytic caps on the output.

I intend to swap these regulators, with a home-made board, a lm317 (better output noise ) and caps ,solid tantalum 20µf on output.
For the ajusting level output, I have the choice :
_Resistors with 10µ cap //

_Tl431, as the reference source

Any comments ?

Or this one ?
