Audio Alchemy....To DIY, or not to DIY - Click HERE for Original Thread

Greetings Everyone,

I've searched the archives and found nothing on this subject, so here goes:

I have an opportunity to buy an Audio Alchemy dde Digital Decoding Engine v1.2 DAC and an Audio Alchemy DTI Digital Transmission Interface Pro for a really good price.

The reason the price is so good is that the power supplies are missing from both units.

Question: Can I use any power supply (Correct voltage, of course) or do I have to use the Audio Alchemy power supply?

If it's Audio Alchemy power only, can I hack the units to accept standard power supplies or can I hack a standard power supply to fit the Audio Alchemy units?

Well I feel pretty Stupid:headbash:

I tried the search one more time and found exactly what I needed.

So, why don't you share with us what you found (link etc.)? I have some older Audio Alchemy units as well. ;)
