2 original Symasym 5,3 boards in this paper envelope is
60g.
So 2 of the AAK boards will probably be under 100g.
The envelope is 10SEK = 1,39$ (Using forex)
100g inside EU is 20SEK = 2,79$
100g outside EU is 25SEK = 3,49$
4 boards will be up to 250g
250g inside EU is 40SEK = 5,58$
250g outside EU is 50SEK = 6,97$
Shippig from Pcb maker to me,if 30 boards ,162,50SEK = 22,66$.

If we buy 30 pcb´s the price for one Pcb is 19,12$.
30 boards/22,66$ = 0,76$ /board.(shipping boards to me)
The envelope is 10SEK = 1,39$
Depending on how many boards you want,just calculate with the shipping prices in post 3.:)
In my pricelist it just says,inside EU,and outside EU.
So I don´t think it matters which state you live in.
If whe buy more than 30pcb´s might be a little cheaper. |

The last time I askedCopra Pro AB the price was 19,12$ a peace if we ordered 30 boards,so it is probably less now that we have 76 boards now.I think it is low enough anyway,Tell me if you want PCB´s and i´ll set you up.
Been thinking:bigeyes: as there seems to be people wanting boards even after this last date,I´will let this thread be open and take signups for boards after this run.:) As I don´t think we/I can delay this one any more.

It says 50vx2 out from the supply,the orginal is 36vx2,is 50v the right supply for this modell?Will 300VA be enough for 2 channels? |

I guess it al depends on how much "overkill" one is willing to finance in DIY... Most commercial class AB amps have their PSU's dimensioned far smaller than nominal RMS output power because constant full power output is rare. 50V rails minus say 5V drop should give continuous 125W into 8 Ohms if the heatsinks etc. hold... This times two means that nominally a 300 VA PSU is certainly OK for 2 channels. I will use 250 VA for 36V rails.
I have some questions too, about the BOM mostly: discrepancies with the original that are not related to thermal stability for instance etc. Maybe we should either, move the discussion of these matters to the original thread, or create a "AAK Symasym builder's thread" as customary... |

Yes,it´s true.2x24v AC will get ju about 2x33v DC.
2x26v AC will get you 2x36v DC.
But I don´t know,I read in the Sequel thread the 50v gave less distortion.Maybee the konstruktor can tell if it´s so.
