Can I parrallel the outputs of a BOSOZ pre-amp?

Would the two channels sum together?

Hi,

yes you could. The current capability would double but the output voltage would stay the same.

Why do you want to do that?

I knew someone would want to know....

I use the BOSOZ as buffers in a line level passive crossover driving a bi-amped system...

I've been thinking about experimenting with some full range speakers, which of course would not be bi-amped, so I would just parrallel the high and low channels of the passive line level crossover together at the output of the BOSOZ and feed a single ampliphier channel with the summed signal. Since the BOSOZ has gain controls for each channel, I could vary the gain of the high and low channels and have a sort of tone control for the full range speaker.

hope it works...

I maybe don't understand the question but, I think the two outputs would sum together to be 0V (ideally).
Buffers???

Audionut,

if you use different input signals I´m not shure it will work. Why don´t you leave the crossover out with full range speakers?

I could just take out the filter...but I liked the idea of "tone" controls.

In the bi-amped system, I can vary the high and low channels to suit whats playing...
