I have a Tascam CD301MkII sitting around. These are quite robust units aimed at the lower-Pro or semipro market. The player is working OK, but the cable remote is a PITA. The remote itself does not have an IR diode installed, - an easy fix, but does the player have an IR receiver ??? ( I cannot find the user manual...and I would prefer not to disassemble it just to find out...no help searching the net either)
Does anyone have any experience with this one?? |

I got the cd-301 myself and I bought a new-old stock remote for it and found out the you have to have the remote wired cause there is no IR receiver in my model...unsure about the MK2 though...
