Hi! We are the 3rd owners of a Kia Rio-- the firt owner put in a philips rc600 radio/cd player. The second owners never had a problem- and we, having ownede it less than 2 week, had a power outage (I left the lights on- so totally my fault).
CD player is asking for a code in order to wrok- radio, nothing works... and we have no idea what the code might be. Have tried the default in the manual, rung the previosu ownder and they have no idea-- is there any way to override the code? I suspect that my 11 year old might have messed with it when he was trying to set the clock....so he may have accidentally reset it, so we have no idea. (never allow an 11 year old to set the clock)
The manual says that you have to re-enter the code when there is a power outage-- we have tried a variety of combinations- 0000, 9999 and the one in the manual- no luck- just WAIT- then CODE.
So- if anyone knows of an override code, please send it! Otherwise, where can I go to get it re-set? (my husband will kill me if this costs me money to fix).... please help! |
