Hi,

I searched for a while but wasn't able to find a (readable) schematic of the Aleph L
preamp (only small size gifs). Could someone please email me a copy (perhaps of the service manual).

Hi Stefanoo,

Could you send a copy ot Aleph P service manual to me at following email :

johnwkkwan@yahoo.com.hk

Also, I'm interesting in your Aleph P 1.7 project, when will it complete ?

Thanks !

John
Stefanoo
in a few days the layout will be completed.
Then i will have to build a prototype and check that the layout gives me the expected perfromance.
And after that we can...if we reach a sufficient number...have the board made it professionaly.
In that way we could obtain the maximum with the finest board standard.
Stefanoo
send it!

Hello again Stefano.

I'm not sure if your last reply was addressed to me or the other gentleman as I didn't receive a copy of the schematic. Could you kindly resend it to chan8usa@yahoo.com please?

Thank you kindly.

Glad to hear of your progress!

as well as selector on the PCB to make it a whole set.

Thanks.

Thank you kindly Stefano!

I look foward to following your progress and shared experiences.

ok....
i will use the manual volume control.
For my personal experience...tweaking comercial good peace of eqquipments...i found out that the remote control volume affects really much the sound.
I will go for the manual balanced output potentiomenter made it with elma switches and i still have to decide what resistors to use.

For the imput selection, i think i will go for the manual switching so just good connectors.

Every suggestion is welcome.

And of course i will share every progress.

For instance.

I made the first layout, but since....i decided to modify it in the way that:

Just one 30uF DC output capacitor and only one shunted 3.22Kohm resistor instead of two paralleled (10K and 4.75K) resistors.

This allows me to shorten the signal path and so i have to re-work and simulate the board!

Anyways i will keep you guys posted.

Best,
Stefano.
