Thinking of trying the TJ Mesh Plate PX25 tubes with the UX4 base and 5V 1.6A heaters in a 300B amp. Anyone tried these tubes yet? What are your impressions?

The PX25 have some other characteristics than 300B. Higher rp and amplification. I think you should use another OPT for PX25 than 300B. I am doing a class A PX25 (KR-Audio with Pa=30W) PP for the moment, my calculations tells me that a Raa of 10k is what I am looking for.
