Hi
see topic. 2 Lm4780, each with paralleled outputs running on 25V secondarys, about 35V with a 4 Ohm load.
OK??
If not: what about RHRP 1560 (15A/600V/35ns, TO-220 compared to 8A/600V/30ns, TO-220)
What are ur experiences? |

No Idea?
I've got 860 here, but not for both... |

MUR860 working peak reverse voltage 600V
Average rectified forward current 8A
Repetative peak surge current 20khz square wave 16A
I think it will be plenty;) worse case heat sink them:hot: |

Hi
thanks for ur estimation.
They can handle more current then the transformer so i think the rectifier is not the first thing to start burning...
But i see man people using 8 Murs even for a single 3875:D
I'll try:) |

| They are useing dual tied rectifiers from a dual output transformer, to help stiffen and reduce 60hz humm...... most of the single chip amp power supplys like Brians or Peters work on the principle of power transformer and rectifier overkill and reduction in power supply capacitance.:D |
