Hi.
Has anyone made a wierd project this weekend.?
(Audio based - before we get the moderators too interested !!)
Or used a non-audio component in their latest hifi.?
Like using a toast rack as a tube protector? (IKEA)
Or a solar powered tube amp?

| I took a ~1.5 kW, 1:800 transformer, but not rated for continuous duty or current limited, so I used a large electric heater as ballast. The six-inch Jacob's ladder arcs made quite a loud 60 Hz buzz. Does this count as audio? And how do I cover the burned spot on my carpet? |

Easy, you need two things... a small dog, and a nailgun! |

| What's really weird is spelling weird as 'wierd', the way it's in the topic title. |
