What is this -OI- ? - Click HERE for Original Thread
Bernhard
This -OI- is printed on a pcb under a diode. Zener ?
janneman
Could it be a - stylized - indication of polarity, O = anode, | = kathode?

There are also standard symbols for diode and zener on the pcb, it is Sony.
I_Forgot
Isn't that a symbol for a current source diode (essentially a JFET with the gate and source leads internally connected)?

yes that's a current source "diode" symbol..... what's the part number on the component?
Bernhard
YD13

Can not find it on

BYD13: Controlled avalanche rectifier

Hmmm it looks like a current source diode, it is in series with a zener between V- and ground.
