Bridging/Paralleling LM1875 - Click HERE for Original Thread

The LM1875 seems like a really nice simple true 5-pin chip but I never saw a schematic for daisychaining or paralleling chip amps.

Can someone post a schematic?

What are the general concepts on how to use multiple op amps in tandem?

Treat them as the usual BPA.

The LM3875 only uses 5 pins and is more capable.

there are other opamp-boost type circuits that use the high open loop gain of the opamp with the higher current dri\/e* of some discrete transistors to gi\/e* more power.

the lm1875 is not best suited for this application in that other IC amplifiers pro\/ide* more power without resorting to the parallel scheme. the LM4780 in a bridge configuration can pro\/ide* more power then the bridge-parallel combo of LM1785's.

otherwise, see the BPA schematics from the lm4780 datasheet. the lm1875 is the same, but does not ha\/e* the mute feature.

*i seem to ha\/e* lost the key that makes the spelling correct. my keyboard is \/ery* old.
