Hi,
There is no need for stabilized power supply for that project.
Simply use a transformer/rectifier/capacitor supply.

| Are there any disadvantages of using a stabilized SMPS for power amplifiers? Or it's just doesn't needed? |

| i think the best way to stabilize it is using pins 1 and 2 of 3525 conected via optocouplers to +- trackings and given 10 pecent more voltage to keep voltage constant. |

It's usually advantageous to use a regulated SMPS, but it's not a trivial job to produce an "audio-grade" +/-85V 20A SMPS. |

Hi,Eva.
some days ago i was having problems with my dc-dc converter 12v to 140v single supply using 3525,4427, 6 pairs of irf3205 .Reading some of your posts,i discovered the problem.
When the voltage reach 140v,the opto coupler put pin 2 to 0volt , and as you said the minimum voltage was 0.5v.The insertion of a resistor solved the pro.
Thanks Eva .
