T-Amp Volume Control - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hello. I am very new to the audio world but I am eager and excited. I purchased 2 SI T-Amps to play with and have started to collect parts to recase one of them.
My question is on the volume control. Which Alps Blue Velvet pot do I get? I have gathered so far it would be the 100k but I am unsure whether to get stereo or mono. They are priced quite diferently. I would assume stereo because the amp is 2 channel but like I said, I am very new to this.
Thanks for any help. -Terence

You want stereo.

50K is usually best.

Thank you so much.

These DIY guys sell Alps pots:
http://www.amb.org/shop/
http://tangentsoft.net/audio/shop/

Ordering from them could be cost-effective, and they're both super nice guys to boot.

I'll definatly be ordering from one of hose two venders tomorrow.
On to finding what case I want. I think I'll be using a Hammond one because I believe that a local store sells them or at least can get them. I hope they have what I want in stock. I'll be using a soft touch knob from Kilo that I will order from Digikey.

Tangent and AMB only sell the circuit board mount alps pots. This is NOT what you want to use!

You want these:
