After taking a break from selling pcbs and kits for a while, I received a new batch of pcbs today:

They are the same as the last batch, except for that they are gold plated this time.

Here is the new sale pricing, which I will keep up until January or so:

Stereo PCB set (2 amp boards and 1 psu board): $9
Dual mono PCB set (2 amp boards and 1 psu board): $12
Stereo kit (pcbs + components for them): $55
Dual mono kit (pcbs + components for them): $75
psu board by itself: $6

More details on the website:
http://www.chipamp.com

Sorry for the long delay in offering pcbs again. I will try to keep them in stock on a more regular basis.

Peppe,

As for the PSU boards, I will get another run of them made in the future. I am not sure of when yet, but I haven't forgotten about them.

All PCB/kit orders received thus far have been shipped out over the last few days, except for one which I received today, which was after I returned from the post office. I will get it shipped out Tuesday when the post office re-opens.

Happy Holidays to all!

What minimum size of heat sink do you recommend?

It depends on how hard you will be driving the amplifier. I had a friend recently build one with some 3" x 2" x 2" heatsinks and they worked without issues for his setup.

Has anyone got the dimensions of the power supply, or more specifically the spacing of the mounting holes. I'll be drilling up a case this weekend and can't seem to find the information anywhere.

Thanks in advance

If you print this silkscreen PDF without scaling it, it will print to the actual size of the boards:

I bought some when you gave free postage. Free postage is better option because your charge of $14 int. postage is too expensive.

Are there specs/instructions anywhere on the site? I poked around and didn't find anything. Not even how many Watts or what transformer is required. I found a lot of pictures but nothing written.

Oops, the first link is actually the manual, duh, nevermind

BTW Mr P. Daniel charges $5.00 for postage via Int. USPS for a bunch of resitors and capacitors, about similar weight to 2-3 LM3886 PCBs.

I have my kit, soldering iron is hot, components in haned but I cannot reach the site for the manual!

I have the PS built, all I need are the values for some resistors - can anyone help me?
r1, r2, r3, rm, rf, rz

and do you solder r3 into the outside hole to utilize the feedback cap?

Site is back up with the manual online. I am sorry for the downtime. My provider had issues with the server, and had to move to a new server, which required retrieving the old files from the server to put on the new one, and redirecting the DNS info to the new server. I misconfigured the address at first, so it took a couple extra days to work right.

Let me know if you have any more questions,
