You can see from schematics that it has already the modification of 2.2uF caps....so what else can i do?

I started by replacing the 2200 uf capacitors (C4 & C7) with low ESR caps. I used Black Gates because they were fairly easy for me to get, but there are others that should also work well (Panasonic, Nichicon, Rubycon). I replaced Cpump with a 1 uf Black Gate also, I don't know if that made any difference but it was cheap and easy. I'd have replaced C3 also, but that value was out of stock so I let it be for now.

My next steps will be to use a stepped attenuator instead of the supplied pot, and replacing the 2.2 uf input caps with nice film and foil polypropylenes. I have some Sonicaps standing by fr that step.

Thank you for replay.
Is your punch bass better now?

The bass is probably a bit better, but the bigger difference was in smoothing out the high frequencies.
