Anyone tried this card... ???

Seems to be a good audiofile card for a very nice price.

I consider buying this card, for HIFI use. Also because it's support's my Linux-box too !

I bought one 2 years ago to record digital.
It has the advantage that it doesn´t resample these
recordings like all the AC97 chips that resample everything
to 48kHz. The other cards that don´t resample were much to
expensive at this time.

This is all you can use this piece for. The driver support
sucks, no correct directx implementation and the analog out
simply doesn´t sound good and is noisy.

The Linux drivers didn´t support the SPDIF interface one year ago, maybe the newer ones.

Under Beos it is very well supported ;)
