I thought I would share my CD restoration method. this method can make a very scratched CD LOOK and sound like new again.
You will need:
T-cut original auto paint renovator
2 clean cloths
household polish
First, apply T-cut and polish out scratches in circles for a few minutes until all large scratches are gone; then rinse CD under tap; then buff with A LITTLE household polish in order to fill in the small hairline scratches caused by the T-cut..
I swear this method has CD's looking like new again.. it is an especially good method to use on very scratched CD's.. |

| Copy the restored disc contents to a new disc before the household polish quits. |

quits?
I don't understand what you mean?
A small amount of polish fills in the small scratches... it doesn't come off or quit? |

| Don't ask me why but you shouldn't use any silicon polish on anything connected with hi-fi. |
