anyone measure L(e) of FE166ES-R? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hi all,
datasheet doesn't show this value... and it is key to calculate Zobel network... I'm tempted to try a zobel to see what happens, my amp is tube output set to 8 ohms.

thanks

.83

wow, that's the highest L(e) of all published Fostex specs...

so with R(e) = 6 ohms and L(e) = 0.83 mH then the Zobel would be R= 7.5 ohms and C = 14.76 uF or 15uf for standard value.

It will be some time before I get a chance to try and report back.

Thanks ScottG
