I've got a couple of WR-125's (16 ohm version) and I'm looking for a little help with my options. I currently run these in a bipole config with a supertweet.
I'd like to build a set of BIB's to see what I think of them. Here are my questions:
1) Since the BIB's are single driver enclosures and my speakers are setup to be run in pairs (16-ohm ea), is there a way I can simply reduce the ohm rating on the speakers so I can try them in a BIB without sacraficing sound quality?
2) I am assuming there is no problem adding in the supertweet with cap so I get the top end augmentation just like I do now in the bipoles?
3) Looking at the FR125's on Godzilla's site, I'm trying to make sense of the graphs. Is it saying the FR125's are only good for ~85db in the indicated enclosure - SPLr? http://www.zillaspeak.com/bib-gm.asp
4) I'm still confused about ceiling loading. I'm in a fairly large room (17'9" x 22'7") with 10ft ceilings around the edges and a pop-up in the center that is 11ft (I'm guessing I only need to worry about the 10ft section since that is the ceiling height above the speakers). I know the line length is determined by the speaker used, but how do I determine the overall cabinet height so that the mouth of the speaker (top) is close enough to the celing for proper loading?
