Will X 2.5 Pre match Aleph 0 Power? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Question to "the man himself" and other respected Pass product users & builders here.

I am comtemplating to get an X2.5 Pre amp to use with my existing Aleph 0 Power amp.

Has any one here used the same combo care to comment on the subjective matter of sonics?

Any Aleph users here care to share what Pre-amp do you use?

Thanks for looking and sharing.

Any one please?:)

I am using an X2 preamp (Pass Labs original, dual tranny version) with an Aleph 2 amp (self built). I can report that it is a beautiful combo! I am using the high output option on the preamp... the Aleph 2 seems to like the juice.

Thanks for the re-assurance Twangbar.

I did not know the X-2 has a dual tranny version. About 3 years back I was looking at a pre own X2 for purchase, but the lack of remote turned me away. I am one lazy S.O.B!:D

Now looking at an X2.5 as it has what I want.

Being a vinyl guy I guess I am used to getting up and down....

I think the X2 had a couple of revisions... the first ones had the dual transformers - and similar the Aleph P. I bought mine used and have really enjoyed it. Going balanced was nice as well.

Good luck with the X2.5 hunting.
