Hey,

Can i leave out the thermistor and thereby the chassis connection on the aleph p powersupply? As i understand it it acts just as a in-rush current limiter...?

It acts as a ground loop breaker, not as inrush limiter. You can leave it out, and connect ground to chassis, but you might get ground loops in your system.

Ok best to include them then ... how critical are the thermistors ratings? i have a few but they aren't precisely the same values as listed.
Kermit
Any termistor 5-10 ohm or so that can handel the same or higher currents will do just fine.

I have 12 ohms (4 amps) - is that too high?

Yep, I think you can. Since we dont have any GND connection on our powermains, the chassis thermistor is not needed:) Other than that, if you have some humm going on, it often helps with a GND connection to the chassis!!!
