Selling My DIY ProAC 2.5s? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I recently finished my Linus III arrays so now I'm considering selling the speakers the arrays replaced.

DIY Proac 2.5s with a beautiful Mottled Mahogany veneer. All crossover parts came from SonicCraft including Alpha-Core foil inductors, AudioCap capacitors, and Mills Resistors. I used pure silver chasis wire for all internal wiring.

Are our DIY efforts hard to sell? Suggestions and experiences of others?

I rarely get chance to sell any of mine as I usually lend them to friends who have an unfortunate habit of not letting me have them back...

FWIW, never use the acronym 'DIY' when advertising, except on DIY forums of course! Too many negative connotations. 'Hand crafted', 'custom-built', 'bespoke version' etc. etc. is more like it. You're never going to make a fortune, but it should help them go more quickly, and perhaps for a higher price than they might otherwise achieve.

Dan,
The veneer work on those is truly excellent!

Another problem selling speakers of this size is shipping weight factor.

Did you post photos and the progress of your finished Line arrays?
Link?

Good luck with your sale. I am enjoying my 2.5's, but my cherry veneer doesn't match your veneer.

I've posted my finished arrays in a few other forums.
